What are the responsibilities and job description for the Account Supervisor position at BBDO MW?
The Account Supervisor is the day-to-day lead client contact on assigned brands responsible for strengthening the client/agency relationship with value-added thinking and expertly managing integrated campaign execution. Responsible for collaborating closely with clients, internal teams, and integrated partners to make ideas bigger and better while ensuring key communication goals and objectives are met.
Responsibilities Include:
- Act as lead primary contact with brand managers on all agency projects and initiatives.
- Build positive, trusted relationships with clients and a deep understanding of all aspects of the clients’ business and the competitive business environment.
- Understand key client objectives and needs to help the agency provide omnichannel solutions and recommendations. Ability to foresee potential client or project issues in advance.
- Develop effective creative and project briefs in partnership with internal teams.
- Partner with media team to develop annual media plans and ensures creative assets and production are aligned.
- Lead time sensitive quarterly/seasonal promotional asset updates, managing vendor and client timelines.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to Account Managers.
- Work with Account Director to manage and oversee budgeting and billing process.
Required Skills/Experience:
- Minimum of 4 years’ experience in a client service/account management role within an agency.
- Experience managing integrated campaigns and production across mediums (video, broadcast, digital, social, print etc.)
- Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills with excellent presentation skills
- Strong relationship building skills
- Superior organizational and time management skills with a strong attention to detail
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
