They rely on BBG for drafting and negotiation of construction agreements for projects of various sizes, complexities, and type, as well as for advising project teams on performance and impact issues commonly faced during construction projects. BBG has an immediate opening for a Litigation Associate Attorney. This position will focus on working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment assisting industry leading clients in the resolution of construction disputes. Litigation Associates are empowered to assist with all phases of construction claims. Successful candidates should have a passion for the construction industry. Relevant work experience, excellent academic credentials, and strong interpersonal skills are required.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Litigation, arbitration, mediation, dispute resolution board actions, and other dispute resolution related to construction contracts and / or projects.
- Draft, revise and negotiate construction agreements.
- Provide guidance on project-related legal matters including risk management and compliance with regulations.
- Utilize strong legal research and writing skills to combine legal principles with practical industry solutions.
- Strategize with project teams before, during, and after the construction phase of projects.
