As a Therapist, your primary responsibilities include assessing, diagnosing, and treating clients based on their unique needs. Key Responsibilities:
Deliver Impactful Therapy – Provide individual, group, family, and other practical counseling services in diverse settings to support clients in achieving their treatment goals.
Conduct Comprehensive Assessments – Complete intake, screening, and assessments promptly, ensuring compliance with state regulations and accreditation standards.
Develop Tailored Treatment Plans – Create personalized, evolving treatment plans that reflect client needs based on thorough assessments.
Collaborate in Clinical Meetings – Participate in case reviews and treatment planning meetings, offering valuable insights and feedback.
Meet Performance Goals – Fulfill department-specific Collaborative Service Goals (CSG) to maintain service excellence.
Navigate Authorization Processes – Coordinate with internal departments to ensure services are authorized and compliant with regulatory requirements.
Maintain Accurate Documentation – Record all services with precision and timeliness, ensuring compliance with state, accreditation, and agency guidelines.
Ensure Compliance & Quality – Address and resolve any documentation or charting deficiencies within required timeframes.
Support Client Transitions – Facilitate smooth client transitions by completing summaries, plans, and final correspondence.
Stay Ahead with Training – Complete all mandatory training to maintain compliance with state and accreditation requirements.
Represent the Agency with Excellence – Build strong, professional relationships with the community, clients, and referral sources while upholding the Code of Ethics and agency policies.
Manage Crisis Situations – Provide immediate intervention and coordinate emergency services as needed.
Offer Clinical Supervision – Guide and mentor individuals in training once all professional qualifications are met.
Lead Engaging Therapy Sessions – Facilitate group counseling, psychoeducational sessions, family therapy, and specialized treatments such as trauma and co-occurring therapy.
Champion Evidence-Based Practices – Provide training, guidance, and clinical consultation to team members, ensuring best practices in treatment.
Drive Organizational Success – Stay engaged with both the short-term and long-term objectives of the company, contributing to its mission and vision.
Take Initiative – Carry out additional responsibilities as assigned by leadership to support the organization's goals.
Education and/or Experience Qualifications:
Must possess at least a Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or a related field.
Holds licensure with the applicable board of professional registration for the state in which they practice as a professional counselor or social worker.
Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).
Must be willing to become licensed in additional states other than the state currently licensed in.
Must be willing and comfortable with providing telehealth services to the individuals we serve (training will be provided).
Supervisory Requirements:

Additional Qualifications:
Expertise in diagnostic criteria for individuals with substance use disorders and/or mental health issues.
Thorough knowledge of caseload management and rehabilitation methods, principles, and techniques as they relate to mental health and/or substance use disorder treatment services.
Detailed knowledge of the challenges faced by persons with mental health and/or substance use disorders.
Considerable knowledge of the methods, modalities, legal requirements, and court procedures related to treating mental health and/or substance use disorders.
Knowledge of supervisory and training techniques and practices used in mental health and/or substance use disorder treatment settings.
Ability to develop, coordinate, and evaluate services within assigned programs.
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating instructions, and procedure manuals.
Strong written and verbal communication skills to produce clear and concise reports.
Ability to establish effective relationships via telephone, telehealth, and personal contacts.
Ability to follow directions and accept supervision.
