Join us as an Agile Coach - Systems Change PMO
Brown Brothers Harriman is currently recruiting an Agile Coach to join our Systems Change PMO. In this role you will work as part of a dynamic and growing team responsible for delivering all IT project services for a demanding business. This position will be a critical part of an enterprise effort to improve development efficiency across departments and locations.
Some of your key responsibilities include:
- Popularize agile values and principles within the organization - work with executives, leaders and teams on implementing agile practices
- Deliver training and coaching for product owners, scrum masters and project teams in Scrum, Kanban, Lean and scaled agile practices
- Contribute to improvements and standardization of an enterprise SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle) program and continuously improve agile guidance and training materials
- Help introduce metrics to identify roadblocks and impediments in the development process and support teams in improving their efficiency
- Encourage active participation and coordinate efforts of agile community of practice to share knowledge, experiences and exchange best practices that would help teams work smarter, increase transparency and improve business outcomes
- Support agile adoption within BBH development teams - work with project teams to analyze current portfolio and processes and design a strategy for the adoption of agile best practices and then guide teams to help them stay on track with agile techniques, fine-tuning approaches as needed
- Help to design and further drive the organization-wide agile adoption strategy and rollout plans
- Occasional travel between global offices may be required

Desired Qualifications:
- Fluent English and good communication skills
- Outstanding training, presentation, and facilitation skills
- Certifications in agile and iterative project methodologies (Lean, Kanban, Agile, Scrum, Scaled Agile, etc.)
- 5 years of agile project experience in multiple roles
- 2 years of agile coaching and/or implementation
- Knowledge of project management and software development concepts and tools
- Experience working in a global environment
- Passion for driving organizational change through cross-team collaboration and continuous improvement
- Positive, can-do attitude, ready to take on new challenges
- Agile tool administration or configuration experience such as JIRA, Confluence, Azure is a plus
