Marketing & Social Media Coordinator
Primary responsibilities include supporting the marketing team in all BBI event & media marketing efforts. This includes managing the social media across all product lines, writing press releases, building marketing lists, and creation of marketing graphics that support marketing efforts.
The responsibilities of the position of the Marketing & Social Media Coordinator includes, but are not limited to:
- Social media marketing
§ Develop new social media campaigns in collaboration with the marketing team
§ Monitor and respond to customer interactions, messages, and tags
§ Grow followers through tagging (editing posts to include tags), sharing with pages, new follows
§ Onsite event social media posts
- Assist in the creation of e-mail campaigns, surveys, print advertisement copy, and online advertisements
- Proofread marketing materials, email campaigns, and directories
- Write press releases
- Assist with the development and maintenance of conference app
- Customer outreach for subscriptions, advertising, registration, and sponsorships
- Assist sales staff with lead generation, data management, customer service
- Help customers with directory listing renewals and new listings
- Enter contact information into contact management systems
- Assist with execution and planning of trade shows, including with sponsors, exhibitors, attendees and speakers
- Seek and analyze competitor marketing and sales materials both on and offline
Qualifications
· Outgoing and approachable personality
· Attention to detail
· 2 years social media or marketing experience
· Articulate and well accustomed to a client facing role
· Willingness and ability to travel four to five times a year
· Bachelor's degree preferred
Salary : $17 - $21
