Vista Innovative Solutions, LLC (VIS) is seeking a Acquisition Program Manager to support our ongoing mission at Ft. Sam Houston in San Antonio, TX. The Acquisition Program Manager will have the following responsibilities:
Tasks:
The employee shall be responsible for providing program management expertise to support day to day operations within the Bioeffect Division portfolio, to include applying acquisition and program management principles, and expertise to guide program and project accomplishment through the various phases of the research acquisition lifecycle.
The employee shall follow in-place and help develop administrative and monitoring support tools as required to perform daily operations associated with establishment, maintenance and oversight of research projects.
The employee shall participate and assist with guidance in the development of strategic and tactical acquisition planning, by defining the scope, cost, schedule, and
performance parameters necessary to successfully complete projects within the Bioeffects Division.
The employee shall demonstrate capability to collect, analyze and appraise acquisition data required to draw conclusions, and work with the project/program managers to devise solutions to problems relating to improvement of acquisition effectiveness and compliance.
Requirements:
The employee shall possess at least a bachelor’s degree.
The employee shall have at minimum an Acquisition Professional Development Program (APDP) Level I certification in Program Management or a Program Management Professional (PgMP) certificate.
Currently possesses a Secret Clearance.
Qualifications:
The employee shall have at least three (3) years demonstrated experience working as a Program Manager in a military environment.
The employee shall have recent and relevant experience within the past 5 years in Program Management, to include acquisition and program management principles, and knowledge to guide program and project accomplishment through the various phases of acquisition lifecycle.
The employee shall have experience reviewing cost, schedule, and activity reports on projects, as well as performing cost, schedule and performance analysis.
The employee shall be able to obtain a Secret Clearance. The Contractor shall begin the investigation process immediately upon award.
Experienced using CCaR.

Salary : $145,000 - $155,000
