SpecPro Sustainment & Environmental is seeking a Civil Engineer to provide engineering support for civil works infrastructure projects. The Civil Engineer will be responsible for designing, planning, and overseeing the development of projects such as roadways, utilities, levees, channels, and dams. This role involves preparing plans and specifications for final designs, ensuring compliance with industry standards, and utilizing Autodesk Civil3D for 3D modeling and design documentation. The Civil Engineer will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure the successful execution of projects, leading technical efforts, and mentoring junior engineers.

Duties/Responsibilities:
The Civil Engineer will be responsible for overall project execution, including design, planning, and oversight of civil infrastructure projects, ensuring adherence to engineering principles and regulatory standards. This includes preparing detailed plans, specifications, and cost estimates for construction projects while utilizing Autodesk Civil3D and other Autodesk products for 3D modeling and technical deliverables. The role involves conducting feasibility studies, site assessments, and coordinating with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure project success. Additionally, the Civil Engineer will provide technical guidance and leadership to junior engineers and project teams, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local engineering regulations. Responsibilities also include reviewing and approving engineering calculations, reports, and design modifications, as well as participating in project management activities such as scheduling, budgeting, and quality control to deliver high-quality infrastructure solutions efficiently and effectively.
Required Skills/Abilities:
Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) with demonstrated expertise in civil engineering.
Minimum of five (5) years of experience in designing and managing civil works infrastructure projects.
Proficiency in Autodesk Civil3D and other Autodesk design tools.
Strong understanding of roadway, utilities, levees, channels, and dam design principles.
Experience in preparing plans, specifications, and technical reports for construction awards.
Ability to lead engineering teams and oversee technical deliverables.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Knowledge of engineering codes, standards, and regulations relevant to civil infrastructure projects.
Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET-accredited university.
Minimum five (5) years of relevant civil engineering experience.
Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
Experience with AutoCAD, Civil3D, and other relevant engineering software.
Demonstrated experience leading engineering teams and delivering technical solutions.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to work in an office and field environment, including occasional site visits.
Ability to perform desk work for extended periods, including sitting and using a computer.
Capability to travel as needed for project site assessments and stakeholder meetings.
Work Environment:
Primarily operates in an office setting with occasional fieldwork.
May involve exposure to construction sites, varying weather conditions, and physical site inspections.
Collaboration with cross-functional teams, contractors, and government agencies..
