SpecPro Sustainment & Environmental is seeking an Outreach Specialist to provide Project Delivery Business process support services to the United States Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), Caribbean District (SAA). This role involves providing support in the planning and executing of key events for the South Atlantic Division (SAD) of USACE. The Outreach Specialist will work closely with the Outreach Team to ensure operational excellence, regulatory compliance, and mission success by supporting the USACE SAD in delivering key outreach events and supporting materials to both the division and surrounding communities. Duties/Responsibilities:
Provides support to the Outreach Team in the planning and executing of key events such as ceremonies, community meetings, charettes, round tables, etc. Involves assisting the event lead in handling logistical tasks such as venue booking, scheduling, material preparation, and AV vendor coordination. Provides on-site support during events, including setup, registration, and attendee assistance. Works with other team members to ensure all event materials and resources are prepared and available. Overall, services under this job scope include program management support and technical expertise to support every stage of the USACE Project Delivery Business Process across all USACE, Caribbean District missions including but not limited to the planning, design, procurement, construction, operation/maintenance phases for all types of projects in accordance with the USACE Strategic Management System.

Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations, Public Health, Communications, or a related field. Equivalent experience may be considered.
Minimum 5 years of experience in outreach, community engagement, or related field.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to walk and stand for extended periods, including reaching with hands and arms, and occasionally bending or stooping.
Ability to perform desk work for extended periods, including sitting and using a computer.
Ability to lift up to 25 pounds.

Work Environment:
Primarily operates in a temperature-controlled office setting with frequent use of electronic office equipment.
