SpecPro Sustainment & Environmental is seeking a Project Management Specialist to provide support to the Project Manager in the planning, scoping, development, design, construction, and execution of assigned projects. The Project Management Specialist will assist in ensuring the efficient, effective, and timely coordination of project phases, including planning, design, and construction. This role involves supporting project budgeting, milestone tracking, and management reporting while maintaining strong bi-lingual communication skills in Spanish & English to facilitate collaboration across diverse teams and stakeholders.

Duties/Responsibilities:
The Project Management Specialist will be responsible for providing direct support to the Project Manager in coordinating and overseeing the planning, development, design, and execution of construction and infrastructure projects. This includes assisting in budget preparation, cost tracking, and financial reporting, as well as developing and maintaining milestone and management reports to ensure project success. The role requires collaboration with cross-functional teams, ensuring compliance with project timelines and objectives, and maintaining project documentation. Additionally, the individual must be bi-lingual in Spanish & English, enabling effective communication across various stakeholders. Strong organizational and analytical skills are necessary to support project execution and assist in meeting contractual and regulatory requirements.
Required Skills/Abilities:
Minimum of five (5) years of experience in project management support within planning, design, and construction.
Proven ability to assist in project coordination, budget preparation, and cost tracking.
Strong knowledge of project management principles, financial reporting, and milestone tracking.
Ability to develop, manage, and analyze cost and management reports.
Excellent organizational and communication skills to support cross-functional collaboration.
Bi-lingual in Spanish & English, with proficiency in both written and spoken communication.
Strong ability to support project execution and maintain compliance with project requirements.
Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum five (5) years of experience in project management support and reporting.
Experience assisting in budget preparation, financial tracking, and milestone reporting.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, project management tools, and data analysis software.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to work in an office environment with occasional site visits as needed.
Ability to perform extended desk work, including report preparation and budget analysis.
Capability to travel as required for project site assessments and stakeholder meetings.
Work Environment:
Primarily operates in an office setting with occasional fieldwork.
Requires collaboration with project managers, engineers, and contractors.
Involves balancing multiple tasks and deadlines to support project success.
