NOTE : Our distribution warehouse busy season is coming up around the end of February or the beginning of March! We are seeking qualified individuals who are willing to wait for that busy season to come around and be ready to work! Please understand this will be a permanent role! Much have experience in operating a Stand-Up / Cherry Picker Forklift or Reach Forklift also using RF Scanners.
Position : Warehouse Receiver (Swing Shift)
Schedule : Monday-Thursday 2 : 00 pm-10 : 00 pm and Fri 11 : 00 am-7 : 30 pm IF REQUIRED- before moving to the Swing Shift.
We are seeking candidates with stable work histories, avoiding those with a pattern of frequent job changes. Ideal candidates should have a consistent record of staying at each job for a minimum of one year. Additionally, candidates with at least one year of forklift experience are preferred.
Pay Rate : $18.00 / hr.
About The Company : Our company is a regional farm supply co-op with diverse operations including feed production, agronomy services, and retail stores throughout the Intermountain West. We are currently seeking a qualified individual to fill the position of WAREHOUSE RECEIVER (Swing Shift) position at the Distribution Center in Salt Lake City Utah.
Responsibilities :
- Demonstrate proficiency in basic material handling, packaging, and warehouse equipment skills.
- Utilize a WMS RF scanner for product receiving and reconcile with vendor packing slips.
- Ensure operational readiness of receiving equipment before use.
- Maintain the receiving area in an orderly and clean condition.
- Optimize space utilization when stocking incoming receipts.
- Perform basic mathematical calculations for figures and amounts.
- Keep the work area clean, organized, and conducive to efficient operations.
- Utilize computers and company software as needed.
- Work collaboratively with co-workers, fostering effective communication.
- Treat co-workers with respect.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
