BBSI has partnered with a leading expert in Commercial Dock and Door installation, maintenance, repair, and equipment services. With a strong presence across Southern California, we’re growing and seeking a dedicated Field Service Technician to join our dynamic and thriving team.
Job Summary
In this role, you will be responsible for providing on-site support install and maintenance of our equipment and systems. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge, basic electrical skills, and the ability to troubleshoot and repair various technical issues in a field environment. You will work closely with clients to ensure their equipment operates efficiently and effectively.
Duties
- Perform installation, maintenance, and repair of equipment in the field.
- Utilize tools and scissor lifts to conduct diagnostics and repairs.
- Fabricate components as needed to support repairs or installations.
- Troubleshoot low voltage systems and resolve issues promptly.
- Maintain accurate records of service performed using an IPAD.
- Communicate effectively with clients in English to explain technical issues and solutions.
- Adhere to safety protocols while working in various environments, including industrial settings.
- Collaborate with team members to improve service processes and customer satisfaction.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in field service or a related technical role.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to diagnose and repair equipment.
- Familiarity with low-voltage systems is preferred.
- Experience with welding is a plus.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Must possess a valid driver's license for travel to client locations.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Adaptable, driven, and eager to grow.
- Positive and enthusiastic attitude is essential for success
