Job Summary :
The Rail Worker will be responsible for performing outdoor transloading duties, completing paperwork, and assisting with various tasks around the yard and DEF building. The role requires basic mechanical skills and the ability to work in varying weather conditions (cold / heat). The ideal candidate will have a good understanding of English for reading orders and completing necessary paperwork, as well as a willingness to be flexible and assist with various tasks to ensure smooth yard operations.
Key Responsibilities :
- Perform transloading duties (moving materials between railcars and trucks).
- Complete paperwork related to orders and shipments accurately.
- Assist with various tasks around the yard and DEF building as needed.
- Work outdoors in varying weather conditions, including extreme heat and cold.
- Operate basic tools and equipment (e.g., air compressors).
- Follow safety guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.
- Assist with additional yard tasks as required.
