Type of Employment : Full Time / Part Time - Wage : $22 - $23 PER HOUR DOE
The Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing corrective and preventative maintenance for the entire plant under the direction of the Plant Engineering Manager. Also participates in installations and renovations.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot and repair production equipment and facilities including machines, electrical, water, etc.
- Responsible for cleanliness of the production and maintenance areas during and after repairs.
- Completes required documentation for repairs and maintenance.
- Makes safety a top priority in all tasks.
- Maintains constant communication with the production team before, during and after repairs.
- Provide support for capital equipment and equipment upgrade and implementation projects.
- Continuous Improvement :
Proposes and implements equipment optimization to improve reliability and to reduce repair times.
