Summary of Responsibilities:
- The VP will help accelerate debt advisory engagement with US corporate clients across a range of sectors and a variety of strategic topics.
Topics of focus include:
Interest-rate sensitivity analysis
- Quantitative analysis: Monte Carlo simulations informing the efficient frontier at the company level
- Qualitative analysis: policy ramifications, sector considerations, investor messaging
Corporate Valuation
- Demonstrated proficiency with multiple valuation techniques to triangulate a range of value
- Illustrate materiality of key drivers and sensitivities
Capital Structure Optimization
- Accretive liability management strategies
- Return of capital to shareholders
- Pension funding strategies
Candidate will lead or assist – per the needs of the business – with the end-to-end process of client pitching
- Idea generation
- Related modelling and analysis,
- Drafting of the comprehensive work product
- Presentation to the client
VP will work constructively with Analysts and Associates, as well as the team Head. Technical and hands-on proficiency across the analysis is essential.
Candidate will interact with other teams as needed, including Client Coverage, Corporate Lending, and DCM.
Essential Job Duties:
- Complete on one’s own the end-to-end delivery of the work products cited above, with a minimal degree of supervision.
- Collaborate effectively with Analysts and Associates to produce multiple concurrent work products.
- Present complex ideas effectively, to both external clients and internal management.
Education
- Bachelor’s Degree in Economics, Accounting, Finance, Math, Engineering, or related field
Fluent in English (working knowledge of Spanish is a plus, but not required).

With respect to this position in our New York Office, the expected base salary ranges from $170,000 to $210,000. It is not typical for offers to be made at or near the top of the range. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, and, where applicable, certifications obtained. Market and organizational factors are also considered. In addition to salary and a generous employee benefits package, successful candidates are eligible to receive a discretionary bonus.
