About The Role
The Company is in search of a full-time Director of Compliance to ensure adherence to all applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations across the business. This role encompasses the development and maintenance of compliance standard operating procedures, regular auditing to guarantee compliance, and working with senior management to implement and monitor policies. The Director of Compliance will also serve as the primary point of contact for regulatory bodies, collaborate with HR on compliant policies, and oversee internal audits to meet all regulatory requirements. Remaining current on regulatory changes, preparing and submitting necessary documentation for regulatory inspections, and addressing compliance concerns are key responsibilities. Candidates for the Director of Compliance position at the company should ideally possess a Bachelor's degree in a related field, a paralegal certificate, or a law degree. Experience in a law firm or regulatory environment is preferred. The role requires excellent communication, in-depth knowledge of industry standards and regulations, and the ability to lead and teach others.
