Joining our dynamic team, BC Steel Buildings is currently seeking dedicated, safety-oriented Laborers to contribute to our ongoing success. As a vital part of our workforce, you will be involved in various tasks, including fabrication, welding support, machinery operation, facilitating deliveries, and handling maintenance and shop-related duties. Responsibilities May Include, But Not Limited To:
- Clean and maintain a safe work environment
- Abide by standard work procedures and job safety standards
- Meet quality expectations for all output produced
- Perform a variety of manual tasks in varying temperatures for extended periods of time, which may include lifting light to heavy materials, climbing, standing, squatting, and bending
- Willing to learn how to use grinders, cranes, plasma cutters, and other tools
- Communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing
- Additional duties and/or projects may be assigned
Qualifications
Preferred Qualifications & Experience:
- Previous experience working an industrial, construction, or general labor job
- Additional education and/or certification in manufacturing
- Crane experience a plus
Requirements
- Ability to lift 75lbs., bend, squat, kneel and or stand for extended periods of time
- Must be able to follow all safety procedures
- Must be able to read a tape measure.
- Proficiency in English, both spoken and written, is essential within our manufacturing plant to ensure compliance with safety protocols and accurately interpret job orders.
- During Interview a test will be given to gauge manufacturing skills required for the position.
