Job Summary
Join our property management team as a Commercial Property Administrator. You will support the Building Superintendent in the day-to-day operations of a commercial property, including tenant relations, coordinating maintenance reports, collecting rent, and ensuring the property is well-maintained; essentially acting as a key point of contact for tenants and overseeing property upkeep under the direction of the Building Superintendent.
Responsibilities
- Respond to tenant inquiries and concerns, addressing issues promptly.
- Conduct move-in and move-out inspections.
- Collect rent payments and follow up on delinquent accounts.
- Monitor lease agreements and property rules.
- Work closely with 3rd party leasing agent and coordinate property tours for prospective tenants.
- Work closely with Building Superintendent with coordination of maintenance requests and repairs.
- Maintain tenant files and property records.
- Prepare reports on occupancy, rent collection, and maintenance activities.
- Assist with budgeting and financial tracking.
- Assist with coding, approval, and distribution of invoicing.
- Make weekly rent deposits to the bank.
Qualifications
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational skills and time management abilities.
- Detail-oriented with accurate record-keeping.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
- Basic understanding of Yardi property management software is a plus.
- Basic knowledge of maintenance and repair procedures.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Compensation is $22.00-$25.00 hourly - benefits to be discussed.
