Job Summary
We are seeking a Concrete laborer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in concrete finishing, ability to set wall panels for poured wall foundations.and be proficient in various related tasks. This role requires attention to detail and the ability to work collaboratively on construction sites to ensure high-quality finishes on concrete surfaces.
Duties
- Prepare and set up work areas for concrete pouring, including formwork and reinforcement placement.
- Operate heavy equipment such as skid steers, excavators. and other machinery as needed.
- Finish surfaces of poured concrete using hand tools, power tools, and techniques to achieve desired textures and appearances.
- Read and interpret blueprints to understand project specifications and requirements.
- Perform heavy lifting and manual labor as necessary during the finishing process.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment by following safety protocols.
Qualifications
- Experience is a plus but willing to train.
- Must be responsible and dependable.
- Ability to operate heavy equipment safely and efficiently.
- Strong skills in blueprint reading to accurately follow project plans.
- Capability of performing heavy lifting (up to 50 pounds) regularly throughout the workday.
- A valid commercial driver's license is preferred but not mandatory.
- Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to delivering high-quality results.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team environment.
