Part-Time Faculty in the Department of the Arts
Discipline: Woodturning
Minimum Requirements:
Earned Master’s degree in Woodworking, Furniture Design, Sculpture, or a closely related Visual Arts field or significant experience in the field.
Working knowledge of woodworking equipment, especially lathes.
Preferred Qualifications:
Teaching experience with “between center” or spindle turning and “bowl” or faceplate turning.
Experience in higher education, preferably with community college students and Pedagogy.
Demonstrated ability to teach Woodturning effectively.
