BCD Meetings & Events: Registration Manager - Connecticut Based

About the role:
Do you have experience in online event registration management? Hotel housing block management? Cvent event management? Any or all of the above? Become part of the BCD Meetings & Events team!

We're looking for outgoing professional who has experience in event logistics planning and/or execution to join our dynamic team dedicated to supporting events for a Life Sciences client. Advanced Excel skills are a must, Cvent event management is a big plus... but we can train.

As part of a high touch team, you will identify and optimize online registration process and strategies. We are looking for a confident and effective collaborator, communicator and who strives in a high paced, multi-project environment. You will work on all types of in-person and virtual events, with a focus on meetings on the client's campus.

Various event sizes, mostly based on the client's campus, meetings and programs of 24-200 attendees in size. Travel as well as out of normal business hours working will be required, supporting some of our client's high profile events.

As a Registration Manager you will:
Lead the online registration process for assigned events ensuring data integrity and reporting using event technology databases like Cvent, and report management in Excel
* Handle attendee inquires via phone and email
* Be a proactive, engaged and collaborative member of the assigned event team
* Create a seamless attendee experience for everyone the programs assigned support
* Regularly commute to client's Campus in Ridgefield, CT.

You're good at
* Learning and optimizing the optimal attendee online registration experience
* Using event technology tools like Cvent and Excel
* Collaborative, big picture and inclusive problem solving
* Communicating... both in writing and verbal, with a variety of communication styles and can embrace ideas and opinions different that your own
* Ability to see around corners, pre-empt and pre plan for every eventuality.
* Attention to detail. Our client produces perfect products. They expect the same of our team
* Cvent hands on registration and reporting experience

You might also have

* Degree in Hospitality
* Experience in running meetings in a corporate campus setting

You should know:
* This role is hybrid and requires multiple days per week on the client's Ridgefield, CT based campus.

We carefully consider a wide range of compensation factors, including your professional background and experience. The salary range for candidates in applicable jurisdictions in the US for the position of Registration Manager is between $45,000 - $62,500 The actual pay depends on your skills, qualifications, experience, geographical location, and project budget.
