Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled BCD Solutions Engineer to design, validate, and optimize cutting-edge solutions tailored for major Video Management Systems (VMS). This role requires a strong technical background in hardware, operating systems, networking, virtualization, and storage, along with deep expertise in VMS platforms such as Milestone and Genetec. The ideal candidate will play a key role in ensuring that all BCD products meet stringent performance requirements while collaborating with industry-leading vendors to refine and validate solutions.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Engineer and validate new BCD solutions with a strong focus on testing and validation.
• Ensure all Dell products meet performance limits for major Video Management Systems (VMS).
• Assess engineered solutions against VMS vendor metrics and testing documentation to determine compliance.
• Establish and leverage professional contacts within Milestone and Genetec to support solution development and validation.

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Expert-level hardware comprehension (Minimum: A certification).
• 3-5 years of experience in hardware design, implementation, and troubleshooting.
• Strong understanding of GPU performance in video processing applications.

Hardware:

• Expert-level hardware comprehension (Minimum: A certification).
• 3-5 years of experience in hardware design, implementation, and troubleshooting.
• Strong understanding of GPU performance in video processing applications.

Operating Systems:

• Expert-level certification and proficiency in Windows Server, Windows, and Linux.
• 3-5 years of experience in Windows Server Administration.

Virtualization:

• Expert-level certification in VMware, Hyper-V, and other virtualization technologies.

Networking:

• Strong networking background (CCNP preferred, CCNA acceptable).
• Experience with network bandwidth performance testing and optimization.

Video Management Systems (VMS):

• 3-5 years of experience with Genetec, Milestone, and other VMS platforms.
• Software expertise and vendor relationships with Milestone and Genetec.
• Expertise in data flows and traffic patterns for leading VMS platforms.
• Experience working with live camera feeds and performance testing.

Storage & Database Management:

• 3-5 years of experience designing, deploying, and configuring SAN and Scale-out NAS storage.
• Comfortable with performance testing storage solutions under real-world VMS workloads.
• Experience in database design, deployment, and support (SQL and third-party databases).

Troubleshooting & Performance Optimization:
