Job Description
Do you enjoy using your multi-tasking skills and working cross-functionally? If so, being an Ingredient Merchandising Coordinator will be a great fit for you! Your focus will be assisting the Merchandiser(s) in the process of purchasing, marketing and delivery of feed ingredients.
Key responsibilities include the timely and accurate entry of transactional data into the appropriate operating systems (purchase/sale order entry, inventory reporting and review, general business functions), record maintenance for both purchase and sales contracts, completion of the transactional piece of transportation logistics, assisting Merchandisers with freight negotiations, handling customer/supplier requests and issues. You will also coordinate with the Accounting Department to ensure the timely processing of invoices/payments, reporting of month end inventory balances and reconciliation of receipt and invoice discrepancies.
Experience - Education (Preferred):
* Bachelors Degree and 3 plus year of experience from Agricultural background desirable.

The Coordinator will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating activities in a food processing plant to ensure compliance with FDA regulations, HACCP standards, and food safety protocols.
Duties
- Coordinate and monitor food production processes to meet quality standards
- Ensure adherence to sanitation procedures and maintain a clean working environment
- Oversee inventory management and ordering of supplies
- Implement and enforce food safety practices in accordance with industry regulations
- Assist in training staff on proper procedures and protocols
- Collaborate with various departments to streamline operations and improve efficiency
Skills
- Knowledge of food production, food safety, and FDA regulations
- Ability to sanitate work areas and equipment effectively
- Proficiency in basic math for inventory management
- Experience with forklift operation is a plus
- Familiarity with HACCP principles in food processing
- Prior experience in a food processing plant is advantageous

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
