We are seeking a dedicated Lab Technical Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in laboratory procedures and possess knowledge of various scientific techniques.
Responsibilities
- Conduct various laboratory tests and procedures under the supervision of senior staff
- Prepare samples for analysis using proper techniques
- Maintain laboratory equipment and ensure they are in good working condition
- Record and analyze data with accuracy and attention to detail
- Assist in the execution of clinical trials and research studies
- Perform DNA isolation, RNA extraction, PCR, and immunoassays as required
- Familiarity with blood banking procedures and clinical laboratory operations
- Utilize medical terminology effectively in documentation
Skills
- Proficiency in laboratory practices and techniques
- Knowledge of physiology and biology principles
- Experience with immunoassays, DNA isolation, RNA extraction, PCR, and clinical trials is a plus
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data recording
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
