We are seeking a Warehouse/Driver to join our team. This role involves a combination of warehouse duties and driving responsibilities, making it a dynamic and engaging position for the right candidate.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate various types of vehicles, including trucks and vans, to transport goods and materials
- Perform warehouse duties such as loading and unloading freight, organizing inventory, and using pallet jacks
- Follow delivery schedules and routes efficiently
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the warehouse area
- Adhere to all safety protocols and traffic laws while driving
- Assist with other tasks as needed to support warehouse operations
Skills
- Experience in commercial driving, route driving, or similar roles
- Proficiency in operating vehicles such as dump trucks, school buses, or paratransit vehicles
- Familiarity with warehouse operations and equipment like pallet jacks
- Ability to handle physical tasks involving moving and lifting freight
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills for inventory management
- Possession of a valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Prior experience in a warehouse setting is a plus but not required
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.28 - $17.50 per hour
