BCforward is currently seeking highly motivated Hybrid Job - Penalty Review Specialist in Phoenix, AZ 85007
Position Title : Penalty Review Specialist - Hybrid Job
Location : Phoenix, AZ 85007
Shift Timing : Monday - Friday
Anticipated start date : 1-2 Weeks
Duration : 12 Months with the possibility to extend the contract.
Pay Rate : $17.00 - $17.99 on W2
This position is Hybrid, Mostly telework
Duties and Responsibilities :
Primary Duties and Responsibilities : Examine and analyze data as presented by the customer applicant for consideration of abatement. Request clarifying information, evaluate both testimony and evidence to make findings of fact and render decisions in conformance with procedural standards, statutes, and tax laws.
Utilize problem solving, critical thinking and decision making skills to conduct analysis of information including financial records and historical data.
Google Suite and / or Microsoft Programs - particularly proficient in Sheets / Excel and Gmail. Research, analytical and critical thinking, problem solving.
Spanish Speaking - Preferred Not Manadatory
Understands accounting and mathematical principles, written and verbal communication
Some college with major coursework in accounting, business or a closely related field or two years of professional experience
