Position Title: Acute Inpatient Coder - (Days) - Remote EST
Locations: 1515 West Dragoon Trail, Mishawaka, IN 46544
Anticipated Start Date: ASAP
Expected Duration: 3 Months
Job Type: Contract with possible extension
Shift: Employees may clock in between 4:00 AM and 11:00 AM
Work hours must not extend beyond 8:00 PM
Sunday work before 7:00 AM requires prior written approval from the Coding Supervisor
Pay Rate $45/hr. on W2
Need: Minimum of 2 years of acute care inpatient coding experience with CCS/RHIT/RHIA.
Interview Process: 1st Phone Screen, 2nd Video Interview

Position: Coder Specialist VI – Hospital Inpatient

Required Qualifications:
- Certifications: CCS, RHIT, or RHIA
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of acute care inpatient coding experience
- Technical Requirements:
- Proficiency in inpatient coding
- Strong knowledge of official coding resources and guidelines
- Experience with EMR systems (EPIC preferred)
- Reliable computer and internet connection that supports productivity standards
Preferred Qualifications:
- Additional experience in hospital inpatient coding
- Familiarity with advanced coding software and compliance regulations

- Equipment Provided: Computer and access to required software
- Floating Requirements: None
- Patient Interaction: N/A
- Dress Code: No specific requirements
Work Schedule & Flexibility:
- Employees may clock in between 4:00 AM and 11:00 AM
- Work hours must not extend beyond 8:00 PM
- Sunday work before 7:00 AM requires prior written approval from the Coding Supervisor
- Employees must adhere to the corporate attendance policy, and deviations from approved schedules without prior written approval may result in disciplinary action.
