BCforward is currently seeking highly motivated Aircraft Sheet Metal Mechanic in Indianapolis, IN - 46219
Position Title : Aircraft Sheet Metal Mechanic
Location : Indianapolis, IN - 46219
Shift Timing : 1st shift = “flexible start” = 6am-8am arrive time and work 8 hour days.
Once start time is determined, it’s expected that the contractor remains consistent
Duration : 06 months contract
Job Description :
- Performs the following duties, and other related activities as assigned. Must demonstrate competencies necessary to meet business requirements.
- May perform as a member of a functional and / or cross- functional team.
- Duties include assembly, disassembly, re-assembly, fabrication, screen, repair, adjustment, test and / or verification of complex electronic, electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and structural systems in accordance with common military, commercial, and aerospace specifications.
- Typical systems include avionics, missiles, weapons controls, aircraft armament, bomb racks, launchers and associated equipment. Electrical duties may include, but are not limited to, removal and installation of components, connectors, and wiring into cabinets, chassis, and console type assemblies.
- Mechanical duties include, but are not limited to, removal, installation, and adjustment of mechanical parts to precise tolerances.
- Structural duties may include, but are not limited to, light machining, sheet-metal work, drilling, riveting, and airframe repairs.

Education required :
High School degree or GED equivalent.
