BCforward is currently seeking a highly motivated AWS Engineer for a REMOTE opportunity!

Position Title: AWS Engineer

Expected Duration: 3 Months with potential to long term

Job Type: CONTRACT (=40 HRS WEEKLY)/ [CONTRACT], [REMOTE]

Pay Range: [$47/hr]-[$52/hr]

Job Description:

• The AWS Engineer is a key technical role responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining applications on the Amazon Web Services (AWS) platform.
• Leveraging their deep understanding of AWS's suite of services, the AWS Engineer ensures that the company's cloud-based resources are secure, efficient, and meet the organization's needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Infrastructure Management: Set up, manage, and scale applications on AWS while ensuring high availability and fault tolerance.
• Design and Development: Design and build infrastructure on AWS, utilizing its service-oriented architecture. Develop scripts for automating client/server functions and to streamline operational processes in AWS.
• Security and Compliance: Implement and manage security and compliance protocols for AWS environments. Ensure the cloud infrastructure aligns with the company's security standards.
• Troubleshooting and Support: Provide technical support in all AWS environments and resolve any issues related to deployed AWS applications.
• Optimization: Monitor, analyze, and manage costs to optimize the usage of AWS resources.
• Collaboration: Work closely with development and operations teams to build and maintain CI/CD pipelines and support the deployment of microservices and serverless applications
