Position Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic Business Development Associate professional to join our team in Indianapolis, Indiana. In this key role, you'll support BCforward’s professional services pipeline for a major U.S. enterprise account, with a hybrid schedule including on-site work in the greater Indianapolis area. Reporting to the Sr. Director of Customer Engagement, you’ll focus on maximizing customer satisfaction and achieving BCforward’s goals.
You’ll coordinate business development activities, including creating documentation, researching and organizing information, planning communications, and scheduling meetings and presentations. Prioritizing tasks to meet deadlines and responding promptly to emerging needs will be essential. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, customer-focused, and possess strong communication skills, thriving in an environment that blends people, processes, and technology to deliver exceptional results.
Job Responsibilities
- Track and document new business activities in CRM, update through each phase, and generate monthly status reports.
- Conduct market research, draft or adapt proposal content, review documentation, submit proposals, confirm receipt, and coordinate client presentations and preparation.
- Draft and manage statements of work (SOW), handle internal reviews, client feedback, and routing for signatures; confirm client Purchase Orders and track onboarding progress.
- Create and manage the contract renewal schedule, draft change orders or new work orders, and deliver weekly progress reports on renewals and project changes.
- Open and prioritize new positions, coordinate recruiting efforts and candidate screenings, facilitate the interview and offer process, and update CRM with recruitment details.
- Attend customer meetings, record minutes, follow up on action items, establish regular check-ins for customer satisfaction, and respond promptly to inquiries.
- Provide monthly reports summarizing personnel, project status, and business development activities, ensuring all documentation is accurate and up-to-date.
- Coordinate scheduling for client presentations, meetings, and internal prep sessions, and manage communication with clients regarding project status and updates.
Job Requirements
- 1-3 years of experience supporting Business Development activities.
- Intermediate to advanced-level expertise in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Systems Administration experience in business tools with process workflows.
- Experience managing multiple priorities simultaneously with high degree of adaptability to shifting priorities and requirements.
- Experience developing presentations, proposals, business cases (desired).
