This role requires a fast-paced call center environment experience with a focus on outbound sales-style calls, healthcare knowledge, and strong data entry skills. Key Responsibilities:
- Make a minimum of 60 outbound calls per day to existing members to discuss care management programs.
- Explain program benefits and encourage members to enroll in care management services.
- Serve as the first point of contact for members, providers, and internal teams to address inquiries and assist with care plan coordination.
- Document and update non-clinical member records in True Care and other EMR systems per regulatory guidelines.
- Support members by connecting them to health plan and community resources to address Social Determinants of Health (SDOH).
- Assist with member onboarding by sending welcome letters, educational materials, and related correspondence.
- Adapt to business needs as call types and responsibilities may vary over time.
- Utilize Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams) for reporting and communication.
- Education: High School Diploma or GED required.
- Experience:
- 1-2 years of fast-paced call center experience.
- At least 2 years of healthcare-related experience.
- Sales or outbound calling experience preferred.
- Experience navigating multiple systems and performing data entry.
- Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams).
- Ability to learn and operate EMR systems like True Care.
- Soft Skills:
- Strong communication and sales-style persuasion skills.
- Ability to adapt to changes in job responsibilities.
- Detail-oriented with excellent documentation skills.
- Preferred:
- Bilingual in Spanish is a plus!
- Performance is measured by production metrics, including:
- Call volume (minimum 60 calls per day).
- Number of members successfully enrolled in care programs
