Job Title : IT Governance Specialist
Duration : 9 Months contract
Pay : $38 / hr on W2
Location : : Cincinnati, OH 45202
Location : minimum of 4 days per week in office
Position Description
Job Summary :
Consult on enterprise-wide data governance frameworks, with a focus on improvement of data quality and the protection of sensitive data through modifications to organization behavior policies and standards, principles, governance metrics, processes, related tools and data architecture
Primary Responsibilities :
- Define roles and responsibilities related to data governance and ensure clear accountability for stewardship
- Facilitate the development and implementation of data quality standards, data protection standards and adoption requirements across the enterprise
- Define indicators of performance and quality metrics and ensure compliance with data related policies, standards, roles and responsibilities, and adoption requirements
- Have proven experience in defining a data governance operating model, communicating the model and implementing it at the Enterprise business unit level in an organization
- Have hands-on experience in implementing data dictionaries, business glossaries, data lineage, data service agreements and data quality metrics
- Help identify new business opportunities pertaining to the use of information assets for existing clients and prospective
