BCforward is currently seeking a highly motivated Data Warehouse Engineer for an opportunity in TX.
Position Title: Data Warehouse Engineer
Location: Onsite
Expected Duration: 3 Months

Description:
Required skills (Top two are absolutely must haves):
- 8 years of overall software development experience is required primarily with Data warehouse applications.
- 3 years of hands-on development experience in Cloud-based data warehouse platform - primarily AWS Redshift
- 3 years of development experience with Python scripting experience.
- 2 yrs of development experience with ETL tools (Informatica, Azure Data Factory, etc)
Other desired attributes are:
- Experience with Moving Legacy DBs to Cloud
- Strong knowledge and experience in data modelling & design with relational and NoSQL DBs
- Demonstrated expertise in performance tuning in various DB environments.
- Experience building and scaling distributed, highly available systems in cloud env (Azure / AWS)
- Expertise in understanding complex business needs, analysing, designing, and developing solutions.
- Communication and professional skills and the ability to establish relationships across business units.
