Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Data Migration Module Lead to manage and oversee specific modules within larger data migration projects. The ideal candidate will have advanced expertise in SQL, various databases (SQL Server and PostgreSQL), AWS Glue, Python, PySpark, CodeCommit/Git, AWS Crawler, AWS Glue orchestration (Workflow/Triggers), and AWS DevOps/CICD. This role requires strong technical proficiency, leadership capabilities, and the ability to collaborate effectively with various teams to ensure successful module delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

• Module Leadership: Lead and manage specific modules within larger data migration projects, ensuring timely and successful delivery of module objectives.
• Technical Implementation: Design, develop, and implement data migration solutions within assigned modules using AWS Glue, Python, and PySpark.
• Data Mapping and Transformation: Perform detailed data mapping and transformation activities to ensure accurate and efficient data migration within the module.
• ETL Development: Develop and maintain ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes using AWS Glue, Python, and PySpark for the assigned module.
• Quality Assurance: Implement data validation and quality assurance processes to maintain data integrity and accuracy within the module.
• Collaboration: Work closely with the overall project lead, data architects, business analysts, and other stakeholders to gather requirements, provide updates, and address module-specific issues.
• Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for the module, including design specifications, mapping documents, and operational procedures.
• Performance Optimization: Optimize module-specific data migration processes for performance, scalability, and efficiency.
• Troubleshooting and Support: Provide troubleshooting and support for module-specific data migration issues, ensuring prompt resolution and minimal disruption.
• Orchestration and Automation: Utilize AWS Glue orchestration (Workflow/Triggers) to automate and manage data migration workflows within the module.
• Version Control and Deployment: Use CodeCommit/Git for version control and manage deployment processes through AWS DevOps/CICD pipelines.
