BCforward is currently seeking highly motivated Document Control Clerk in Williston, VT
Position Title : Document Control Clerk
Location : Williston, VT 05495 Anticipated Start Date : Tentative start Date 03 / 03 / 2025 Please note this is the target date and is subject to change. BCForward will send official notice ahead of a confirmed start date.
Expected Duration : 12 Months Job Type : Contract : 40 hrs / week Pay Range : $15 / hr to $16 / hr on W2 Please note that actual compensation may vary within this range due to factors such as location, experience, and job responsibilities, and does not encompass additional non-standard compensation (e.g., benefits, paid time off, per diem, etc.).
Job Description :
- Day to Day Responsibilities of this Position and Description of Project / Assignment :
- Sorting, filtering, batching paper claims
- Reviewing incoming mail, sort for claims, sending back items that cannot be accepted, batch scan and process those that can be accepted
- Entry level position, experience not required
- Sort and batch medical claims into proper claim types
- Scan claims using the corresponding batch numbers assigned to each claim type.
- Prepare Return to Provider (RTP) forms as necessary when required claim information is missing or is invalid.
- Sort and scan timely filing appeals.
