BCforward is currently seeking a highly motivated Technician : Engineering Laboratory - II for an opportunity in Rio Rancho, NM!
Position Title : Technician : Engineering Laboratory – II
Location : 1600 Rio Rancho Boulevard Southeast, Rio Rancho, NM 87124
Anticipated Start Date : ASAP

Expected Duration : 6 months contract with possible extension
Job Type : FULL TIME 40 hours a week, CONTRACT, ONSITE
Pay Range : [$25.29 / hr] – [$27.03 / hr]
Please note that actual compensation may vary within this range due to factors such as location, experience, and job responsibilities, and does not encompass additional non-standard compensation (e.g., benefits, paid time off, per diem, etc.).
Responsibilities :
- Daily monitoring and operation of tools, load / unload tools, change tool cards, move wafers around lab between tools, receive wafers shipped to lab from other sites, conduct troubleshooting, error response and clearing on tools to keep operations running, maintain a clean and safe lab environment.
- Operates complex equipment and analytical tools in an ESD environment.
- Technicians are required to wear ESD lab coats and conductive shoe straps along with safety glasses during work. Multi-tasked responsibilities may include minor preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, non-standard processing and problem-solving.
- Primary job duties are to maximize output using constraint management techniques while sustaining process, equipment issues, training, and cross training cluster members.
- Position requires working efficiently from standard procedures and specifications.
- Some, if not all, tasks performed require repetitive motion to an extent.
- Position is highly physical where candidates need to be able to stand, move, walk, etc. throughout the day.
