Job Description:

Job Title: Government Compliance Analyst / Government Logistics Analyst

Work Location: Indianapolis, IN 46219

Duration: 06 Months

Shift: Regular Shift

Job Details:

• Performs Logistics support relating to the delivery of end item deliverables.
• This position requires an in-depth understanding of contractual requirements in order to create and deliver end item deliverables.
• Produces documentation to obtain customer acceptance and to provide the necessary data to invoice the customer for billing.
• The documentation includes the DD250, an International Packing Sheet and/or a Domestic Packing Sheet. Position requires a high degree of accuracy.
• Erroneous data or failure to achieve objectives will have a serious effect upon the ability to meet customer delivery requirements and meet financial goals. Provides training to others.
• Position also includes cross functional duties within receiving, shipping, and inventory/material control.

Required Skills:

• Proven ability to work in a fast-paced and multi-tasking work environment.
• Demonstrated ability to interface with a wide variety of internal and external customers, peers, and management in order to deliver resolution in assigned areas.
• Successful experience with being tactful and diplomatic in regards to assisting customers
• Decision making responsibility with minimal supervision.
• 4 to 6 years of intermediate knowledge & experience with Microsoft Office Suite
• Ability to perform research and analysis in a variety of systems
• Ability record and track shipment totals against contractual line items.
• Ability to resolve customer requirements for the delivery of contractual deliverables
• Ability to be flexible and adaptive to learning new job responsibilities and tasks

Required Education:

Bachelors degree in Business, Supply Chain, or related field

4 to 6 years relevant experience can be substituted for a degree

Desired Skills:

• Knowledge of Logistics practices
• Knowledge of SAP applications including Horizon, Prism and Apex
• Knowledge of DFARS Appendix F
• Knowledge and functionality of Wide Area Workflow (WAWF)
• Knowledge of APEX/Prism Shipping processes
