BCforward is currently seeking a highly motivated Mailroom Clerk for an opportunity in Milwaukee, WI 53207
Position Title : Mailroom Clerk
Location : Milwaukee, WI 53207
Anticipated Start Date : ASAP

Expected Duration : 3 months with possible extension
Job Type : CONTRACT (>
40 HRS WEEKLY) / CONTRACT , ONSITE
Pay Range : $15 / hr - $16 / hr
Please note that actual compensation may vary within this range due to factors such as location, experience, and job responsibilities, and does not encompass additional non-standard compensation (e.
g., benefits, paid time off, per diem, etc.).
Job Summary :
- Performs business support or technical work, using data organizing and coordination skills.
- Performs tasks based on established procedures.
- In some areas, requires vocational training, certifications, licensures, or equivalent experience.
Key Responsibilities :
- Receive and sort trays of incoming mail, weighing 10-20lbs each.
- Sort, load, and open incoming post office mail by envelope.
- Work on a seated mail opener / scanner machine.
- Scan contents of envelopes based on established procedures and rulesets.
- Identifies documents and their purpose; requires attention to detail.
- Classifies documents based on contract requirements.
- Captures information based on client requirements.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
