About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Model Development Manager to join our team at BCforward.
The successful candidate will have expertise in Model Risk Management, Governance, and Enterprise AI, as well as strong leadership skills.
- Key responsibilities include:
- Leading the review, oversight, and monitoring of the AI, model, and critical use spreadsheet portfolio.
- Driving the model risk strategy for GT by monitoring and overseeing the model and critical use spreadsheet inventory, ensuring overall governance adherence to Enterprise Model Risk Management and AI Policies and standards.
Additional responsibilities:
- Coordinating with cross-divisional stakeholders to ensure timely completion of deliverables and tasks.
- Developing and implementing solutions to optimize performance, prioritize risks, and core processes while focusing on operational excellence.
- Supporting the education of new model owners on documentation and procedures.
Requirements:
- Strong business acumen with expertise in Model Risk Management, Governance, and Enterprise AI.
- Proven leadership skills with experience in managing high-performing teams.
- Advanced MS Office proficiency (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
