Job Summary :
The North Carolina Department of Information Technology (NCDIT) is seeking a skilled ORBUSInfinity / Architecture Specialist to serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for the ORBUSInfinity Enterprise Portfolio Management (EPM) platform. The specialist will provide expert guidance in aligning architectural frameworks, methodologies, and processes with the organization’s strategic objectives.
This hybrid role requires an experienced professional who can collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to translate enterprise architecture concepts into actionable insights, ensuring the effective utilization of ORBUSInfinity and adherence to industry standards such as TOGAF, FEA, and MITA.
Key Responsibilities :
- Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for the ORBUSInfinity platform, offering strategic and technical expertise to support NCDIT initiatives.
- Translate enterprise architecture concepts and domains into actionable, platform-compatible components that align with target metamodels.
- Lead efforts to organize, manage, and maintain architectural artifacts, methodologies, and processes, ensuring alignment with established frameworks such as :
- TOGAF (The Open Group Architecture Framework)
- FEA (Federal Enterprise Architecture)
- MITA (Medicaid Information Technology Architecture)
- Other relevant industry standards or frameworks.
- Develop and implement lifecycle management processes for architectural components to maintain relevance and alignment with organizational goals.
- Provide guidance on the customization of ORBUSInfinity to meet NCDIT-specific requirements, including developing and implementing organizational extensions.
- Collaborate with business analysts, enterprise architects, and IT strategists to bridge the gap between architecture strategies and operational objectives.
- Monitor the platform’s configuration and usage, addressing any issues or inefficiencies.
