Job Title: Quality Assurance - Seed Quality

Duration: 12months

Location: Bapchule, AZ 85121

Anticipated Start Date: ASAP

Job Type: Contract (40 hrs. a week)

Pay Range: $21- $23/Hr. on W2

(Please note that actual compensation may vary within this range due to factors such as location, experience, and job responsibilities, and does not encompass additional non-standard compensation (e.g., benefits, paid time off, per diem, etc.).

Shift: second shift (5:00 PM - 5:30 AM) Monday - Friday with occasional Saturdays. They must be ok to work in plant setting (environmental setting - cold/hot temperatures).

Qualifications:

Preferred: Quality Assurance experience, Agriculture background

Responsibilities:

Position Objective: This position is accountable for performing day to day testing of seed at the site. Key emphasis will be placed on the accurate testing of cottonseed quality before, during, and after processing to ensure high quality planting seeds. This includes, but is not limited to, trait confirmation, conformance of standards, and appearance ratings. This includes daily interaction with other Site Supply personnel to produce and deliver the finest quality seed possible.

Primary Responsibilities:

* Conduct sampling of bagged and bulk seed as directed.

* Conduct appropriate seed quality tests in lab and/or (QA Pod at plant).

* Follow lab procedures to produce accurate results.

* Follow all OSHA safety rules and regulations to promote a safe working environment.

* Work closely with other team members to make sure quality of work and quality of seed being produced is the best in the industry.

* Performs other duties as directed by the Plant Supervisor and/or Quality Assurance Supervisor.

* Read test and determine if seed is meets standards.

* Calibrate testing equipment to production standards.

* Report all information in the plant monitoring software.

* Report any seed issue that do not meet site standards.

* Mechanical abilities

* Communication skills

* Computer Skills

* Must be capable of handling 50lb bags if needed
