Position Title: Sr. Java DeveloperLocation: Jersey City, NJAnticipated Start Date: February 10th 2025Please note this is the target date and is subject to change. BCforward will send official notice ahead of a confirmed start date.Expected Duration: 4 Months with Potential for ConversionJob Type: FULL TIME (>=40 HRS WEEKLY), [Contract], [Hybrid]Pay Range: $63.00 - $67.00/hr.Please note that actual compensation may vary within this range due to factors such as location, experience, and job responsibilities, and does not encompass additional non-standard compensation (e.g., benefits, paid time off, per diem, etc.).Key responsibilities:- Software development experience with - Java and Spring boot
- Application of architecture and design patterns
- Understanding or having experience with agile and lean philosophies
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills with clear communication
- Experience with Private Cloud and Public Cloud Platforms like AWS, Google Cloud and Microsoft Azure.
- Experience with Linux/Unix environments
- Experience with SQL and NoSQL Databases
- Terraform
- Apache Kafka
Nice-to-have skills:
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills with clear communication
