What are the responsibilities and job description for the Tax Analyst position at BCforward?
***Hybrid: 3 days in the office (flexible on the selection of weekdays) - in Tax Season (Jan- April) 100% office attendance mandatory***
Job Description:
- Ensure consistency in information reporting practices within clients' accounting systems
- Prepare and maintain procedure documentation.
- Mapping process flow for transaction information and recipient information for CIB clients.
- Prepare communication on status of tax document preparation, progress, accuracy, and correction, and present to Management.
- Maintain metrics on account filings and corrections.
- Research, communicate, and resolve questions for key stakeholder(s).
- Perform preliminary checks on tax reporting information, before Tax Season and Print Day validations.
- Assist in overall needs of the team and provide support in areas of specialty as well as during peak periods.
Any experience on below information:
- AEOI – FATCA and CRS reporting for an entity regarded as a custodial financial institution
- 1042S reporting
- T5/T5008 reporting (Canada)
- W form validation, US Indicia, and the subsequent application of backup withholding
- 1099 B and 1099 Div reporting as well as 1099 copy to IRS filing
