Tax Analyst

* [941, 944 Forms]
* [State & Local Income Tax Compliance]

Role & Responsibilities:

• Understanding of federal tax returns including but not limited to schedule Rs
• Provide second tier resolution for variances discovered through tax research
• Perform second level audit reviews of check recon process for approvals to finance
• Work closely with internal finance and accounting teams to provide updates and support of research requested.
• Provide input to the development of tax strategies.
• Advise accounting, attorneys, and finance on tax matters which affect the management of accounts.
• Analyze tax matters and drive appropriate business decisions by making recommendations and involving key business resources.
• Escalation liaison for Compliance Solution Team.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience
• CPA preferred
• Ability to effectively articulate complex tax problems and solutions
• Strong technical tax knowledge and experience
• Experience with Microsoft Office products, particularly Excel and Word
