A law firm seeks Advice and Counsel, Of Counsel to join their team in Los Angeles, CA.Job Overview : The Advice and Counsel Of Counsel will play a pivotal role in providing comprehensive legal guidance to clients regarding employment law matters. This position requires a deep understanding of employment regulations, exceptional communication skills, and the ability to offer practical solutions to complex legal issues.Duties : Conduct audits of employer practices, including wage and hour policies and procedures.Draft and revise incentive compensation documents, including commission and bonus plans.Draft and revise policies, handbooks, and other employee communication documents to ensure clarity and compliance.Explain complex employment law issues in a manner understandable to various audiences.Identify problem-solving options, weighing the pros and cons of each to assist clients in selecting the most suitable legal solutions.Requirements : JD from an ABA-accredited law school.Admitted to the CA State Bar and in good standing.Minimum of 9 years of relevant experience.Knowledge of federal, state, and local workplace and employment law preferred.Understanding of current agency (state and federal) enforcement techniques is a plus.Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.Strong project management capabilities.Outstanding written and oral communication skills.Experience conducting training or workplace investigations preferred.Education & Certifications : Juris Doctor (JD) from an ABA-accredited law school.Admission to the CA State Bar.Skills : Thorough understanding of employment law regulations.Exceptional communication and presentation abilities.Analytical and problem-solving skills.Proficient in drafting legal documents and policies.Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.Ability to translate complex legal concepts into practical advice.#J-18808-Ljbffr
