Key Responsibilities
- Represent clients in litigation matters, providing legal advice, case management, and courtroom support.
- Independently assess cases, offering immediate analysis of liability, damages, and potential outcomes.
- Work closely with senior attorneys to develop case strategies and participate in client meetings to discuss case progress.
- Manage the entire lifecycle of litigation, including preparation, filing, and responding to motions, discovery, and pleadings.
- Regularly communicate with clients, providing updates on case status and setting expectations for next steps.
- Collaborate with the team to ensure that every client receives the best possible legal representation and service.
- Take responsibility for driving cases forward while coordinating with other team members for support.
- Be proactive in learning new legal procedures and strategies, with opportunities for training in deposition-taking and trial preparation.
- Assist in negotiations and settlement discussions, aiming for favorable outcomes while protecting client interests.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- 1-3 years of experience in civil litigation, preferably in a legal setting involving client representation.
- Ability to conduct thorough legal research, analyze cases, and formulate clear, actionable legal strategies.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a demonstrated ability to craft compelling legal arguments.
- Must be self-motivated and comfortable managing cases independently while still contributing to a collaborative team environment.
- Excellent negotiating skills and the ability to effectively advocate for clients both in writing and in verbal discussions.
- Willingness to learn and grow within the role, including participating in training for depositions and courtroom trials.
- High degree of professionalism, with an understanding of client needs and a commitment to providing exceptional service.

- Prior experience with depositions and trial work, even if in a supportive capacity.
- Familiarity with legal practice in Texas or a similar jurisdiction is a plus.
