The ideal candidate should hold an advanced degree (Ph.D. preferred) in biology, biotechnology, biochemistry, cellular / molecular biology, molecular genetics, microbiology, or a comparable field. Previous experience in a law firm or industry and current admission to the USPTO are required.
Duties :
- Draft and prosecute patent applications for life sciences, biotech, or pharmaceutical inventions.
- Conduct thorough prior art searches and analyze patent and scientific literature.
- Collaborate closely with inventors, attorneys, and clients to develop effective patent protection strategies.
- Manage patent portfolios and provide support in patent litigation matters when necessary.
- Stay updated on relevant laws, regulations, and industry developments.

Education :
