Corporate Attorney

A law firm in Oakland, CA, is seeking an experienced Corporate Attorney with 4-8 years of preferred experience in either a law firm or in-house with a business or governmental entity. The ideal candidate will possess a strong general corporate background, including expertise in structuring and advising LLCs, corporations, and partnerships, reviewing and drafting commercial contracts and business agreements, and corporate governance.Duties : Provide legal counsel on general corporate matters, including entity structuring, contract review, and corporate governance.Advise clients on the legal implications of business decisions and strategies.Draft, review, and negotiate a variety of commercial contracts and agreements.Conduct legal research to ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.Collaborate with internal teams to provide timely and effective legal support.Requirements : 4-8 years of experience in corporate law, preferably in a law firm or in-house setting.Strong general corporate background with expertise in LLCs, corporations, partnerships, and commercial contracts.Excellent academic credentials and a commitment to community engagement.Superior interpersonal skills with a demonstrated ability to work well under pressure.Exceptional judgment and the ability to handle multiple projects effectively.Articulate legal strategies and courses of action clearly and concisely.Education : Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.Certifications : Active California Bar license or a commitment to obtaining one as soon as possible.Skills : Proficient in legal research and analysis.Strong verbal and written communication skills.Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.Job Location : Oakland, CABenefits offered : The firm provides a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision coverage.#J-18808-Ljbffr
