This is an exciting opportunity to take a central role in the firm’s contracting processes while working in a dynamic and collaborative environment.DutiesLead the negotiation and drafting of business contracts to align with company goals and policies.Provide strategic advice and guidance during contract review and negotiation, identifying key business, financial, and legal risks.Develop creative solutions to mitigate negotiation challenges and ensure business interests are protected.Ensure compliance with internal policies and legal guidelines throughout the contract lifecycle.Draft contracts that address key issues such as payment terms, data security, and dispute resolution.Prioritize and manage multiple contract reviews, ensuring that high-priority matters are addressed promptly.Work with key stakeholders to identify upcoming contract needs for new deals and renewals, aligning legal strategy with business priorities.Assess the risk associated with business transactions and provide proactive recommendations.Contribute to process improvement initiatives to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the contract negotiation process.Collaborate with internal departments and external advisors to resolve complex contractual issues and ensure smooth contract execution.RequirementsA Juris Doctor (JD) degree is required.A minimum of 5 years of experience in business contracts, negotiations, or a related field.
