Job Overview

A reputable law firm is seeking a Mid-Level - Senior Associate with robust experience in asset management to join its finance practice. The successful candidate will advise clients on investment management, compliance, and private investment fund formation, including private equity and hedge funds. This role offers an opportunity to become a subject matter expert in the Investment Advisers Act and contribute to a high-performing legal team.

• Advise clients on investment management and regulatory compliance matters

• Assist with the formation, structuring, and administration of private investment funds (e.g., hedge funds, private equity funds)

• Develop expertise in the Investment Advisers Act and related regulations

• Work collaboratively with other attorneys on transactional and regulatory projects

• Provide ongoing legal support throughout the fund lifecycle

• Substantive experience in asset management law

• Familiarity with the Investment Advisers Act and a strong interest in further developing subject matter expertise

• Ability to manage complex legal work independently and as part of a team

• Active license to practice law and in good standing with the bar in the relevant jurisdiction

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school

• Admission to the Bar in the jurisdiction of residence

• Good standing with relevant Bar Association

• Strong knowledge of investment fund structures and operations

• Excellent communication, drafting, and problem-solving abilities

• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects efficiently

• Collaborative mindset and commitment to legal excellence
