Job Overview :
Work collaboratively with lead trial attorneys to perform research, analysis, and writing tasks for various tort law cases.
Contribute to the representation of plaintiffs in legal proceedings.
Demonstrate a keen interest in the intellectual aspects of tort law and trial practice.
Duties :
Conduct comprehensive legal research on relevant case law, statutes, and regulations.
Analyze and interpret legal documents, including depositions, witness statements, and medical records.
Draft legal memoranda, motions, briefs, and other court documents.
Assist in case preparation, including organizing evidence and preparing exhibits.
Collaborate with attorneys and support staff to develop case strategies and arguments.
Attend meetings, hearings, and trials as required.
Requirements :
Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
